Design of compact Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) using micro-controller chip 8051: This was my final year project in I.I.T KHARAGPUR. Here I was
invoved in the implementation of Relay Ladder Logic using the designed PLC. The desiged relay ladder logic (using software designed by me) on the PC is
downloaded into the PLC in a form acceptable by it. The Relay ladder program can be changed at will using the software developed. First the whole hardware
design of the PLC was done and then the software required for running was deleloped using C, C++. The whole design was done keeping in mind easy industrial
facilitation and the fact that not many peoople in Industry know the in?s and out?s of computers and software. So the software was made as user friendly as
possible.
